Hurt Poem by Emma Jane Rae

Hurt

Why do you insist on being like this?
to you i wasnt worth a good bye kiss,
why do you keep on saying hurtful stuff?
don't you think you've hurt me enough?
if you think i will back down you are wrong!
as i sit here listening to James Blunt songs!
the cd you borrowed that was mine!
you said it reminded you of me,
or was that just another one of your lines?
why did you insist on telling me lies?
my pens on paper i let out sighs,
my mum has gone and she wont be back!
but she didnt care - she didnt give a jack!
so when you text im sorry!
i know thats all cr*p!
my chest keeps on sinking,
as you catch me in your trap!
i miss you so much,
but i wont forgive what you have done
everytime i think of you,
my body goes all numb,
my heart it aches so much,
just yearning for your touch,
but when i remember the hurt you have caused,
the humilliation and the pain,
i will NEVER let you back in my life,
you will NEVER hurt me again!
