Hurt's Final Ride Poem by Angels Ink

Hurt's Final Ride

Rating: 5.0

Reflecting the past, I had a vision
It rolled in with the sea
Where all my hurt's were washed up
Swirling and lapping at my feet

The sands then circled tickling
The arches of my souls
Cool sprays of the white wash
Danced and etched between my toes

The ocean breezes swept around me
As a blanket snug and warm
With this nature so perfectly placed
I felt serenity re-born

As I cast all my concerns out
Just as fisherman with line
The waves rolled in dancing
Until the shores they eagerly found

My hurt's then swirled and gathered
And became enveloped in the tide
Then out through the crystal waters
They took their final ride.

A lovely image, Angel, & one I can use when working with people who have to let go of painful memories. Thank you so much.
