Hurts Need The Cure Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

Hurts Need The Cure

When you're insulted, assaulted, wounded,
Thwarted, implicated, dethroned or bruised
You feel hurt and that hurt hurts you deeply
To stay and settle into the subconscious.

Not to retaliate, you smile it away
For social decency as a fake smile.
The hurt mingles with the deposited ones
And spins for a future and work for it.

Some hurts are fatal that might last till death
And strive so hard as to overcome its scar.
Many revolutionaries are hit with such hurts -
A kind of revenge more than retaliation.

When you hurt someone, seek for a pardon.
When you are hurt, let a pardon heal you.
Retaliation can heal but perpetuates
The ill feelings to the spiral steps up.

The hurt is in proportion to attachment.
Emotional hurts are stronger than the hurts.
Hurts stuck at teens roots to last forever.
Be your challenge to cure them with a will.
