Hush Precious Child Poem by Cam Stud

Hush Precious Child

Rating: 5.0

So Hush precious child, It ends tonight
wrists are cut along with your thighs
You dealt with enough for far too long,
They won't miss you when you're gone
Cut your skin and just give in
Will it be wrong, this last little sin?
No more pain from which you hide,
But now you can say at least you tried

Your friends all left, and your family too
Take your knife, you know what to do.
You lived your life spent all alone,
Nowhere to go, no place called home
In isolation you spent your life
In desperation, don't think twice
The rope already around your neck,
Just tip the chair, you useless wretch

Smiles to fake and tears to hide,
You'll take the blame for when you lied
You said you were fine, You said I'm alright,
But wanting to just be held real tight,
Have no one weep for when you're gone,
This is what You wanted all along
When You are laid beneath this earth,
You can finally say it doesn't hurt.

Why didn't they listen to what you said,
You said it'd be better if you're dead
It's too late, the hour's come
Your pain will finally be numb,
Slit your wrists and close your eyes
This will be your very last sunrise
You tried so hard, you tried your best,
Take one last breath, and accept your death.

So hush little baby, don't you cry
Death is gonna bring you to his side
