Hymn Of The Bonekeeper(Minor) Poem by Joshua Lee

Hymn Of The Bonekeeper(Minor)

Rating: 5.0

*The following is taken as an excerpt from existent narrative of which I myself have written. It is a minor hymn of the character Krevik and thus is not present in its entirety as he would have it spoken.

Rend the flesh and carve the bone
Flay the living upon bloodied stone
The youthful girl has yet to have known
That upon this night her fate is sown

For I am Krevik first and Bonekeeper last
Though latter title be wrought of vilery past

To me, this sounds more like an incantation than a hymn, but it's strongly written...and very sinister! My favorite line is 'flay the living upon bloodied stone'-it sounds almost Biblical. Or like a lyric from Slayer. Whichever.

Joshua Lee you are amazing, and your vocab extends that of which i have ever seen/heard. You should let me read that narrative....
