head swimming
eyes dimming
eyes watering
worn tired
head aching
headache growing
an expanding
mushroom darkness
seeking blotting
out mind spores
no desire to speak
rest time now forced seek
I try to stand my legs
asleep both feet
asleep hobbling
around can hardy walk
too much writ speak talk
in hours unmoving
motionless writing
fever fest feast
am I ill do I need a pill
is it long overdue time water to swill
once I was long hours
an active live wire
now only sleep rest I desire
doctor I need not see
time defined I know exactly
what is happening to me
I am loosing
a creative race
my brain is slowing
to a minute pace
sticking sticking
brain dead expired thoughts
exhaustion evaporating
now cannot trace
dizziness can sudden creep
up on you through pushing
pencil hard lack of sleep...
now it is self imposed body
collapsed rest imposed I near
off to bed time to get out of here...
I seem to have upon occasion
all or most of these symptoms
I thought it was just excessive writing
oh dear it might be catch up consequences
too little done achieved in the past I fear
symptomatic have you figured it out yet
case proven he's got the writer's disease
case chronic a really severe case
he can write around the clock
he can write from dawn till dusk
he can write all day all night until dawn light
the excessive writing reason he had so little time to write
