Whenever I say, 'I love the rain, '
Many folk ask me if I am insane;
But I love to watch the raindrops falling:
I find it exciting and extremely enthralling.
With dazzling diamonds, the world seems to shine,
Following a downpour, whether heavy or fine;
Rain is bewitching; it does me no harm,
And, for me, it holds an almost magical charm.
I am someone who's a real rain lover,
And so you'll never find me running for cover;
Whilst many others hurry off to hide,
I'm more than happy to stay put outside.
As long as I'm dressed all snug and warm,
I'll trudge through the rain, whatever its form:
Whether it's pelting, drizzling or merely a spit,
I really don't mind it, not one little bit.
