I am a king
I have lost my crown,
Not a king and not a folk,
I am without crown a king,
Like a poet without poem.
I have lost my crown,
In the deep forest and field,
In the river and horizon,
I have lost my mind and soul.
Exile in my own house,
I am a poor man with crown,
Unfit to my present gown,
I have lost my kingdom.
Anger and attachment to none,
Only pain in my deepest heart,
Pain of losing my dukedom,
Loneliness is the only way.
Became king many a time,
False or real what is the matter?
All kings are real and all are false,
A shepherd can be the king of kings,
His field is his kingdom.
Only for a night or a day,
I am a king of my own mind,
The choice is mine and it is real,
I am a king for I have lost my crown,
open to the surface of life.
Am I not your king?
King of your heart full of Love!
Ha! I am, know your soul and
hold me close to your breast,
A king without mind will you know.
I am a king and it is true to me,
Within my soul the stars blink,
The moon shines with Joy,
The day and night alter,
I am a shrine within my temple.

What a loss to feel like a king who has lost his crown. Then you regain the crown of love, a happy outcome. The poem oscillates between loss and gain beautifully.
