the reader is My wrist.
I am an artist.
The paint is My blood,
The canvas is my arm.
I am a musician.
The melody is My screams,
The lyrics are My tears.
I am an author.
The books are My skin,
The stories are My scars.
I am an actress.
The character is My fake smile,
The movie is My life.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this poem, as well as a few of my up coming poems, in the dead of night while my family was sleeping. I do not cut, but I do self harm and this is what came to me. Whatever feed back I get is awesome!
