Speaking of who I am,
in my heart.
I am a poet;
yet, I do not like to perform.
I just want to leave an imprint
and do my part.
Speaking radically,
into an impatient crowd.
Umm, ...My shyness can kick in
and I won't start.
But, give me a pen and a pad;
I'll commit to a style and form.
Maybe!
Just read me.
Get lost with me.
Speaking of who I am,
in my heart.
I am a writing poet,
eluding you to read me.
I just want you to take it in;
using all your intellect.
Beginning to end,
open the windows of wonderment.
Imagine your life as imagery,
metaphors and similes.
Journey with me,
into a place where you can be free.
Run your fingers;
over, under and in between
my lines and transitions.
Pause and think....
Ponder on the "What If's...
Challenge concepts.
Question, "what it really means? "
Repeat with me,
Words and/or phrases that resonates
a relationship between you and I.
Get lost with me?
The text is so simple;
so, no need to reply.
Just read me,
I am a Poem.
Waiting to be, performed.....
One day...
Maybe.
I might muster up the courage.
If not,
Understand me,
as I am just a poem
