I remember
The gentle whisper
That was spoken slowly
I felt so much moved really
Her head was down
Not to show eyes of her own
With fear I may catch little glimpse
And then slowly force
I was mesmerized
And obliged too
To respect her wishes
Till willingly reached
I have waited
And felt elated
That at no stage we violated
The sacred norms openly related
She did consent
And never resented
My closeness
With her frankness
I am happy
As she has already
Expressed
And confessed
