I am outgoing and independent
I wonder what will happen tomorrow
I hear the rain above me
I see the world spinning before my eyes
I want to feel accepted

I pretend that I understand what is going on
I feel like a failure
I touch my hand to my heart
I worry about what is to come
I cry because my family is leaving
I am outgoing and independent

I understand my flaws
I say that I will never give into peer pressure
I dream of becoming successful
I try to impress others
I hope for the future to be bright
