I Am Not Sleeping; I Am Dreaming Poem by Hebert Logerie

I Am Not Sleeping; I Am Dreaming

I am not sleeping; I am dreaming
My two eyes are wide open
I see the sun bursting
I realize that the world is perverse
After so many thoughts
Disputes and calculations
Things change like the chameleon
We are all encircled by lions.

I am not sleeping; I'm listening
My ears are super clean
I can see that the henchmen
Are full of unfit and nasty things
I realize that the world is perverse
Right now, the sun has burst
My two eyes are wide open
I am not sleeping; I am dreaming.

P.S. This poem is dedicated to Paul Eluard.
