I am not the same as you..
This I hope you will see..
I thought what we had was special..that you really believed in me.

I am not the same as you..
I have my own thoughts..
We've tried so hard in this relationship, but all we've done is fought.

I am not the same as you..
If you would take the time..
To open up your ears and heart...and stop wasting so much time.
Sometimes I like to be quiet..sometimes I like to be loud..
Sometimes I like to be alone..and sometimes I like to be in the crowd.
Sometimes I just want to sit with you and listen to you breathe..
As long as you expect me to be just like you,
These are things you'll never see!

All the time we have spent, all the moments shared..
I pray to God to heal my heart, to have my feelings spared.
You see I have never felt a love like this before..I can not get you to believe...
