I Am Old And You Are Young Poem by Arun Maji

I Am Old And You Are Young

Rating: 5.0

Sorry, I must go.

Why?
Don't you know
You are young
And I am old?

Let me go.
Please, I beg you, let me go.
Don't stare at me anymore.
Don't touch me anymore.

Don't you know
I get burnt in fire of your touch?
I get drowned in sea of your eyes?

I told you
You are young
And I am old.
You are rising sun
And I am fading moon.
But …….

I wish I could love you.
I wish I could hold you in my arms
And kiss your lips!

Yes, I know you want me.
But...…
Don't you know
I am old
And you are young?
