I Am Sorry Poem by Timothy Mims

I Am Sorry

Rating: 4.0

I am sorry for the lies
and all the insufficiant tries.
I am sorry for not obeying what you said
and all the wrong thoughts inside my head.
Even after the first lesson was taught
I did it again and then got caught
Now I see all the pain I brought
I recognize not only myself I hurt
But you also,
And for that I feel lower than dirt
I deserved to be punished for my actions
For I had turned too easily toward distractions
I beg for forgiveness, truely I plead
I am sorry I did this selfish deed
So learning I’ll do,
But likely I’ll fall
Again I’m sorry for it all
