You walked with me down the path of life
You showed me things I did not know

My eyes now see the world for what it is
And not for what it could be

The trees are taller now and full of life
Seasons have passed as the time has moved on

I walk with my head held high
To see where I am going and not where I have been

I am standing in the present
As the future is unwritten

As I walk down the path of life
I learn what I do not know

For my heart will see the world for what it is
And not be broken by the unknown

The seeds that I have planted
Shows signs of life

I journey through my time here on earth
Looking ahead at the endless horizon
