I Am Truly Sorry Poem by Randy McClave

If I have hurt you I am truly sorry
If I every made you mad please forgive me,
As I stare up at the heavens so bright and starry
God is looking down upon me.
If I have ever made you angry I truly apologize
Please, please forgive me for doing that,
As my soul feels so sad from hurt, tricks and lies
Please forgive me for where I once was at.
If I have ever done anything to ever damage you
Truly I am sorry and I ask to be forgiven,
Especially if I broke promises and I wasn't true
At that time I wasn't spiritually driven.
If I cheated on you I give you my remorse
Forgive me please for the wrong I had done or did,
I was walking and playing the wrong course
Now my shame and guilt I wish you would rid.
If I have ever done anything to make you feel bad
For that moment I have already cried a tear
I am so sorry for hurting you or making you sad
I want that pain I caused to disappear.
If I have never reached out a helping hand
If I ever started a wrongful controversy,
I am soulfully sorry that I never helped you fight or stand
And, Thank You! for listening and for your mercy.
