I Am Yours - Poem by megan watts

i am your rock
and you are the kite
i am the anchore
and you are the ship
i hold you down
so you dont go astray
if you left me
i would be no use to no one
it would be like
the sky without clouds
a story without words
a pen without ink
a mind without thoughts
you cant just have one
and not the other
it doesn't work
and i cant live without you
i am yours
