I Apologize.....Please Accept! Poem by Eivzul Acijom

I was shocked
when you said goodbye,
I can't do anything
but to cry.

When i've got the strength
immediately i called,
but your phone was busy
i couldn't get through.

I dialled your number again
at last, your phone rang.
You asked, are you crying?
I said, no i'm not.

Though i was crying
i did not want to let you know,
coz you'll stop talking
that's for sure i know.

When you started talking
i realized the hurt that i caused you,
I wanted to say i did not mean it
but surely you won't believe it.

You've given me a chance to talk
to tell you my reasons,
when i started speaking
my heart was already crying.

Thinking this chance
that you were giving me,
you'll decide......
if you still want me.

While we were talking
in my mind i was worrying,
the words 'I LOVE YOU' that
i used to hear were missing.

Then you said bye-bye
you need a rest,
tomorrow you have to work
and need strength.

Softly i said bye-bye
and whispered 'i love you',
but i think you did not hear (?)
coz there's no 'i love you too'.

For the whole night i was awake
i've kept thinking and wondering,
if you still love me when you
wake up in the morning.

I am blaming myself
for hurting you,
hurting words that i've said
which i should not do.

I am here
pouring out my heart,
it's my big mistake
and i accept.

From my heart,
I apologize.........please accept!
