I Await Your Company Poem by Christopher Talon

I Await Your Company

Rating: 5.0

(NOTE: This poem is a puzzle. Do you know who or what I am?

I await your company,
I long for your admiration,
We are so much alike, you and I,
Your lips are my lips,
Your eyes are my eyes,
I appear sad when you look sad,
I smile when you smile,
We share a bond that one day may be shattered,
I am delicate, please don't dropp me,
We are filled with narcissism and envy,
You come to me for approval,
When you change something about yourself,
You come to me and ask, 'How do I look'?
My reply will always be the same,
'What do you think? '
I will never lie to you,
We are so much alike, you and I,
When you quietly look deep within me,
You see yourself,
I await your company.
