I Broke The Wind Poem by John Paul Butler

I Broke The Wind

As l stood upon the shore
The wind broke around me
And l couldn't fix it

So l called for the air ambulance
They gave it an inhaler
Which breathed new life into it

As l'd assaulted a salted breeze
In came the emergin' sea
It's sirens sang and wailed to warn

And so it's a good job
That l wasn't shooting the breeze
I could've blown it utterly away

But then to add insult to injury
I broke my own wind there
Just a simple case of gas and air
