Silverburn Poem by John Paul Butler

Silverburn

It burns cold
Over the ocean
To the horizon
This silver strip
Is like a river
To the moon

The Silverburn
Feeds this ocean
From inland
Reclaimed water
Rain from
Silver lined clouds
