I Brought You Home Beautiful Flowers And Candy Poem by John Gabriel

I Brought You Home Beautiful Flowers And Candy

I brought you home beautiful flowers and candy
You were in bed with my best ex-friend Randy

I forgave you and loaned you my brand new car
You smashed it up after getting drunk at the bar

I decided to call it quits and say goodbye
You said you were sorry and began to cry

I forgave you and we decided to tie the knot
You got drunk and slept with a guy named Scott

I had enough and asked for a divorce
You said you’re sorry and showed remorse

I forgave you and decided to give it another try
One day later you ran off with another guy

Looking back things weren’t all that bad
You only slept once or twice with my dad
