I Can Only Admire The One Poem by Francis Duggan

I Can Only Admire The One

I can only admire the one who says i am doing okay
Though she or he does work hard for far from good take home pay
The one who does say there are far worse off people than i
In a World where poor people every day of malnutrition does die
The one who in life is doing it quite tough
But says compared to many i have it easy enough
People of empathy like this person i can only admire
And of singing their praises i never can tire
With their lot in life they feel satisfied
There is a need for many more people like they are Worldwide
Though they themselves often financially down
They think of others doing it tough in the town
Their thoughts do not revolve around self every day
Others are doing it far tougher than us they does say.
