It's funny how years have passed, and still you haven't changed.
Still holding up that promise, that things will stay the same.
Cause loving you is something I don't regret.
I just hope I'm not another thing you'll grow to forget.

It's amazing how you still know me.
Being so uptight, and nothing feels right.
Cause you know, that I never fit in.
Never wanted to be noticed, wanted to keep my focus.
But always found myself in a spotlight.
You know that I'm terrible at lying.

You can see the smile I'm faking.
You know when I'm breaking.
And you still manage to pick up the pieces.
You know all my darkest secrets.
All my dreams, hopes, and demons.
You fill the part of me that's missing.

No matter where life takes us,
You still have a place in my heart.
Even if its 2am and pouring rain,
I'll keep you from falling apart.
I could always tell myself I'm over you.
But there's nothing I can do, I can't deny the truth.
