I Close My Eyes
I close my eyes and listen with my heart
As rushing waves kiss the whiteness of the shore,
In playful rays warmth of the sunlight
Embrace the scene my thoughts adore.
And with the song of palm leaves swaying
I lull myself to restful sleep
Such tranquil solitude so soothing
In dreams I will forever keep.
