I Cry Out: Why Should I Live? Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

I am depressed
I am alone.
I sit and cry alone.

My failures destroy me.
I am good for nothing.

Feelings of desperation
kills me inner core.

I cry out:
Why should I live?
why did I not die
at the moment of my birth?

Then the spirit of the Lord
comes to me
to lift me up
into the heavens of joy
and success and love.

Thisis my faith.
I love this faith
which makes me powerful
in moments of sorrow
and distress.
