So many nights I see you
When I close my eyes to dream
You are always there
Or so that’s how it seems

I always see your face
Shining through the night
It always makes me smile
Because I know things are alright

Sometimes I know I reach for you
Because my dreams seems so real
But when I put out my hand
There’s no one there to feel

I wish just once this dream I dream
Could somehow come true
I know for that to ever be
I’d have to be lying next to you
