I'D Believe In Faeries Still

i'd believe in faeries still
tho never one should yet be found.
and i'd believe that heaven's real
if only hell myself surround.
and i'd believe that i can fly
if never once i leave the ground.
and in the music of the spheres,
tho never i should hear a sound.

i'd believe in spirits even
if they couldn't e'er be seen.
and ghosts as well, tho not the kind
we scare ourselves with halloween.
and i'd believe that when i die
a different sort of life will be,
even were we not so shown,
by nature and eternity.
