I Do It Anyway Poem by Casey Lyon

I Do It Anyway

Rating: 5.0

There’s tons of things to do with my life.
But only a short time to complete them.
So I choose the things,
That I have to do.
And those things that I want to do less.

But I do those things that I have to do.
No matter how much I hate it.
But I do it anyway.
Because if I didn’t, there’s nothing.

But I want to do other things I enjoy.
But sometimes work comes first.
So I do it anyway.
Putting off the fun things.

I can’t believe how fast the world has gone.
It’s like I’ve never done anything worthwhile.
But I look at the people passing by,
Doing odd jobs, wishing I was them.
But I do it anyway…

you have a really strong point here and i agree with you.we should think more about what we want not what we have to do.
