I don't know how to make you love me

Or if you're even there
I don't know how long I can last
Withering under your disapproving gaze
I don't know if I can make it out
Of this blinding, chocking haze
I don't know what to do
To make your world go ‘round
I don't know if I scream,
Will you even hear the sound?
I don't know if I'm lost
Or if I have just lost you
I don't know how to help
Do you even want me to?
I don't know if you love me
I don't know if you care
I don't know if you want me
At night with you there
I do know that I love you
And that whatever the cost
I will always be by your side
Until all hope is lost
