My Love Poem by Teresa Woods

My Love

A promise whispered on the midnight wind
Surrendering to love’s sweet kiss
Drowning is a sea of emotion
Oh! How I never want to come up for air

Life is naught but a bittersweet game
Ever ending in pain and tears
But in your arms, with loves sweet sorrow
There’s nothing else that can compare

Lost in the depth of your eyes
Feeling your skin next to mine
My heart weeps every time I see your face
I can’t breathe for wanting your touch

Lovers lost in moonlit rapture
Bodies joined together as one
In this moment of loves pure pleasure
Our passions can never be undone
