I Don't Recall Poem by Phil Soar

I Don't Recall

The shoes I wore when I was small
I don't recall

The things misheard as I grew up
I don't recall

The nature of what I became
I don't recall

The lessons from school in teenage years
I don't recall

What I do recall are parents words
That matter now

The times they taught me life's beliefs
They Matter now

Now they're gone and time moves on
I recall it all
