I Don't Wanna Be Like Him Poem by Mary Neil Poisson

I Don't Wanna Be Like Him

Rating: 5.0

I don't wanna be like him
who plays Gaston
stares at the mirror
and loves nothing but himself.

I don't wanna be like him
who wastes your time
twists your mind
and leaves you broken.

I don't wanna be like him
who rushes things
in a speed of a race car
and crashes on a dead end.

I don't wanna be like him
who's a puppeteer
pulling all strings
and throwing it away after using.

I don't wanna be like him
who's a constant turmoil
of rainy days
and unstable weather.

I don't wanna be like him
who comes in
like a hurricane
and leaves you devastated.

I don't wanna be like him
but I'm slowly becoming one
So, darling, can't you see?
you're better off without me.
