I Don't Need Poem by Randy McClave

You won't see me holding a rifle or a gun
Because, I don't and won't own one,
Instead of owning or using a gun or a rifle
I instead own and read and follow my Bible.
It is true what the Bible does say
God, gives us strength when we ask and pray,
Those others read and adhere to a different lesson
They follow the Bible of Smith & Wesson.
They say bully and cowards are all armed
Look at all the the bullies and cowards have harmed,
They scream you need a gun if for your family you care
I said all I need is Jesus and a prayer.
I commented on their bully's and cowards owning guns remark
More or less I say unto them hark,
Why do you carry a gun or a rifle as a weapon
I guess a bully and coward you are as well I reckon
Those with strength and faith carry the Holy book
Others never give it a look,
I follow the lord Jesus Christ God's son
So, I don't need a rifle or a gun.
