I Dont Want To Live On This Planet Anymore Poem by Milos Jovanka

I Dont Want To Live On This Planet Anymore

Oh how I’m sorry to say goodbye you blue marvel
You really were the fairest of the rabble
But I can’t stand the tenants that hang around your place
So I’m packing off today from the planet of the apes

Set the engines running, and thrusters at maximum
Ground control is calling but I won’t spare the platinum
When it’s getting hard to breath that’s when you have to leave
And brace the fatal danger of escape Velocity

I tried so many times but the rules were someone else’s
And the workings of this world always left me helpless
I couldn’t keep living wearing this skin
When I had to reach out cause I’m an alien

I don’t want to live on this planet anymore
So put me on a spaceship faraway from sol
‘cause the stars, though there far, seem so clear and kind
Then the people who are near whom I leave far behind

To the orange skies of Venus, to the red planes of mars
I’ll aim my ship beyond the range passing Bernard’s Star
Flying through the darkness of the Milky Way cosmic
Master of my Destiny tanned with Zen inside my cock pit

Into the asteroid downpour, to the nebulas dew
I’ll find my direction on the everlasting route
Drive around Orion then circle around Rigel
Feeling whole freedom as if touched by an angel

Sorry Mom and Dad, I know you did your best
But I was a cuckoo that brood with unrest
And like a Martian People were my kryptonite
Now I must find a home by the rays of starlight

I don’t want to live on this planet anymore
So put me on a spaceship faraway from sol
‘cause the stars, though there far, seem so clear and kind
Then the people who are near whom I leave far behind
