I dreamed of an angel dancing,
Spinning gracefully across my mind.
Fairest beauty I ever witnessed.
I dream of her now most every night.

Sometimes I see her waltzing toward me.
My heart beats faster than a speeding train.
I try to look calm but I'm not successful.
It's in my eyes so I try in vain.

If you had seen this angel before me,
You'd be dreaming now just like I do.
Then you know that I can assure you,
Just like me you'd want her too.

When I awake I feel so rested,
For I know this angel has held my heart.
So in her sweet love while I am dreaming,
Each day I'm ready for a fresh new start.
