I Feel I Should Poem by Anonymus Girl

All around me I hear their happy voices
wondering what ever did happen to my own?
Did I lose it when I was yelling at you?
Because since then it hasn't shown.

I do not want to wonder
What I would be like, had you stayed
If I had actually listened to your words
If my attention hadn't strayed

I should have listened to your warnings
But what is there for me to do?
I am stuck wearing this happy mask
Even though there is only sadness all the way through

I shut my eyes so I feel blind
To the world of curruption around me
I lock myself away from everyone else
So I no longer feel I can possibly believe.

Believe that you will come back
Even though you said you would
If you did I would apologise
As I feel I really should.
