You can hit me some more if you like
Because you cant make me feel any worse
I never thought that being yours
Would feel like such a curse

I love you with my whole heart
Is treating me like this right in your eyes?
I don’t want to feel scared of you anymore
I don’t want us to say our goodbyes

If your going to beat me
Then stop telling me it wont happen anymore
I cant cope with all your lies,
And the tears are making my eyes sore

Funny how that’s pretty much all that really hurts
Because the bruises all fade away
You land them on me like kisses
But they’ll be gone in a few days

Its your words that hurt me more
Because you fill my ears with lies
When you hit me I don’t say a word
But your yelling is what fuels my cries

I wont leave you because I don’t think I will cope
Your hate and love rescued, and set me free
Even though you don’t realise this
I know you wont ever love me.
