I Feel No Guilt Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I pray before the start of day
Bow down and remember to say
“God forgive me if I commit anything wrong”
I go to remain with them and walk along

I am not sure what will guide me
Whether I shall be bound or free
To take side of wrong or right
I shall know it only in night

I won’t be able to say with authority
But I feel it is right to pray almighty
Asking for no favor in return
As with his grace only universe runs

He is aware of all our misdeeds
Where we are and what are our needs!
“He has given teeth so may provide us food too’
Old legendary tale goes and it is almost true

I feel no guilt
As belief is strongly built
It is my firm faith
And shall remain till the death

You have any religion
You may be living in any region
The spirit behind faith remains same
“God, guide us safely so not to feel shame “
