I Feel The Canary Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

I Feel The Canary

I feel the canary

I went to graveyard
Needed to go outside.

Saw robins catching worms
Listened when they sang song.

Saw the geese here, there
Most of them were single,
My passing bothered them,
They honked for partners:
"Our eggs are in danger! "

I feel the canary
When barred of flying.

Less patient are the males,
That is why sing louder
Seeking their freedom…

I went to graveyard
Felt better than inside.

Meant to raise my voice be
A man-like canary:
"And what if they catch me,
Make me next canary…? "

I feel the canary
When barred of flying.

To me, if you advise,
Your voice is just a fart.

Love to go walk outside
Hate sitting on my butt.

I feel the canary
When barred of flying.

I was born for outside
Go away, shut your mouth.
