I Forgive You Poem by Randy McClave

I Forgive You

The greatest words of revenge
When spoken unto a foe their soul it will singe,
It's better than any bloodshed, or being dead
And it's truly the only soulful way to avenge.

When you look into your adversaries eyes
And all that you see is gossip, hate, rumors and lies,
And you know you need to retaliate, but not with hate
Don't be cruel, but instead be merciful and wise.

You need not to be at all full of guile
Full of curses, foul gestures just to harm and defile,
First look into your mirror, then find your true interior
And then, just smile.

You need no weapon at all on your person
Or any new insults to be swearing and/ or cursin',
Be instead be a diplomat, and not that of a spoiled brat
Never let the situation worsen.

Vengeance belongs only to me I say
Said the lord God as it is written and it I will repay,
I will recompense, I will be your defense
Soon, I promise my wrath will come your enemies way,

The very best revenge for you to ever do
Which will clear your mind and soul pure and through,
It's what Jesus had cried, when he was crucified
It is to believe and say, "I forgive you".
