And promises so true
I doubt now that you love me
The way that I love you

The feelings I couldn't hide
I thought you were special
You touched me deep inside

If you were to confront me
I'd try to be strong
You won't see the pain
Of what you have done wrong

I gave you my world
Tried to make you see
If you would only try
You could belong to me

It's hard to believe them true
Those things I've been told
