I Hate Guns/War Poem by Rhiannon blackbird

I Hate Guns/War

Rating: 5.0

When thyself thy hear the drums,
the guns the guns, the never ending guns,
I hate them so, I'll never know why some one would kill,
the booms the booms they never end,
glistening ever so often in my head, the smoke,
the smell, the wicked spell, for it dawns me till the day I die,
if I should weep then ever so softly
let me sleep and not wake till the fighting,
the gun shots, let me not wake till war dust thee take.

Pain and the style of expression co-existing with a good manner. The emotion sometimes help us to penetrate the point of triggering zone. Thank you. Write more. Regards, Pranab k chakraborty 10
