I Hate Her Poem by Ramona Thompson

I Hate Her

In your heart and in your bed
She lives where I most wannabe
Shames all the good and bad times with you
That I have always longed to shares
She has it all
My man
My life
My dreams
That is why
I hate her

So much more that I could give
So much more a lover and a woman I could be
If only you would notice me
I could show you
We are the two who belong together
Always and forever
I want only to share the air that you breathe
The space that surrounds you
Please, please let me be a part of your life
She has all that I want
She has you
That's why...
I hate her

Witch!
She tosses a coy smile my way
So self-satisfied
She laughs at my pain
My agony at being kept away from you
The only man I know that I will ever truely love
I should be alsleep beside you tonight
I should be sharing your breakfest and dinner table
I should be your wife
The mother of your child
Not her
She's not good enough for you
Never has been
That's why....
I hate her

How can this be?
How can you love her and not me?
All you have to do is ask and I swear to God
I will always be yours
Please ask
Please love me
Be with me
I promise
I'll be so much better then her
In your bed
In your life and in your heart
I pray someday you will let me show you what I can do
The only one you'll ever need
Won't you give me a chance to change your mind?
Leave her and start a new future with me
Please don't make me say it again
She has you
She has every dream that I ever wanted to come true
For that and that alone
I hate her and always will
