I Hate Jazz! Poem by Etienne Charilaou

I Hate Jazz!

I hate jazz!
I hate heavy metal!
I hate country!
I hate the blues!
I hate R&B!
I hate alternative music!
I hate gospel!
I hate reggae!
I hate love songs!
I hate pop!
I hate dance music!
I hate techno!
I hate rock!

But I love classical music!
I love opera.

Poor one that I cannot free
from antipathy!
Nothing can I do
to change your view.

I wrote a poem in my phone -
my liking for the 80s tone.
Its significance is for me
greater now than then.

Perhaps it is mostly nostalgia?
Yet I enjoy music from every era.
We all have favourite melodies.
These are natural peculiarities.

My view is when unranked
all music is sacrosanct.
