I Have A Lover, Who Loves Me Poem by Dakota Ellerton

I Have A Lover, Who Loves Me

In your arms I want to be
It's the place I want to lay
tell me you won't let me go
in your embrace I can forever stay

Tightly wrapped up
I sleep at your side
make a decision
you must decide

like a fish on a hook
you've got me
either reel me in
or toss me back in the sea

I told you I'd wait
for forever and a day
but my heart is breaking
I can't live much longer this way

I need [love] you dearest
for my heart belongs to you
keep it or break it
I'll love you regardless of what you choose to do
