I Have But One Life - Poem by Raymond Farrell

As another
More noble than I
Has said
I have but
One life to live
And now that
I am over 60
I realize
As I peel back
The layers of life's onion
And weep
There is so much
To be learned
To be put into practice
And so little time
In which to do so.
