I have come this way before
But vaguely remember anything.
Like little spectres of fireflies crazilydancing in the dark
I can only see the light,
Something very far,
Yet of myself.

I am light yet I choose to live in the dark,
I am wisdom
Yet I choose to stray in oceans of feverish ignorance.

Still I am not lost,
He looks after my way, and guide me.
Here all the ways lead you to the same destination.

You start from one side
And you finish at the other end.
And he is waiting.
He was where you started
And he is where you end.

There is no other way
No escape
You can choose one from the books
Or another from the wise
Or one from your own heart,
The end is the same,
For you
And for me.

He is wise who sets his mind at rest
And see the eternal wisdom deep inside.
